Next Sunday, the next World Allergy Week will start – the annual initiative of the World Allergy Organization (WAO). Allergy care during the COVID-19 pandemic will be the theme of this year’s edition.
The purpose of World Allergy Week is to spread knowledge and education about the role and importance of optimal control of allergic diseases. Allergies and COVID-19 can often give similar symptoms, which is why, especially in the current epidemiological situation, effective diagnosis and management of patients with allergic rhinitis and asthma seems particularly important.
On June 28, 2007, at www.worldallergyweek.org, you’ll find materials prepared by global experts, such as infographics, lectures and articles, targeted at both doctors and patients. One of the most important events will be a live webinar with WAO leading experts with discussion and the opportunity to ask questions. The webinar will start on July 2 at 14:00 Polish time.
