Experts: allergy to cow’s milk often turns into an allergic march, i.e. subsequent diseases

Cow’s milk allergy is a serious condition that can often turn into an allergic march, especially when not treated properly. The treatment in this case is the use of an elimination diet – when the mother is breastfeeding – she should eliminate potential allergens from the diet. When the child is fed artificially, a milk replacer should be used, first based on protein hydrolyzate. In Poland, such products are reimbursed – experts argued during the Monday debate “Milk allergy – a temporary problem of the infancy period or the announcement of further diseases?” Organized by the editors of Health Policy.
